Saturday, October 20th from 9AM to noon, Franklin County Solid Waste Management runs its Spring “Clean Sweep” Bulky Waste Recycling Day at these locations:
•    Buckland Recreation Facility, 66 Ashfield Rd, 112-S (½ mile south of Mohawk HS)
•    Northfield Highway Garage, 49 Caldwell Rd. (off Rt. 142)
•    Whately Transfer Station, 73 Christian Lane (off Rt. 5/10)
No pre-registration necessary. Items will be recycled whenever possible. There is a disposal charge on all items. Cash only.
What To Bring:
•     Tires    • Mattresses
•     Electronics    • Computers
•     Furniture    • Mattresses
•     Televisions    • Carpeting
•     Microwaves    • Scrap Metal
•     Construction & Demolition Debris
•     Appliances: remove doors from refrigerators & freezers

Bulky Rigid Plastic Recycling:
•     5-gallon pails,
•     toys, crates,
•     laundry baskets,
•     lawn furniture

Please do not bring:
•     Yard Waste, Brush, Tree Stumps, Asbestos, Paint, Auto Batteries,
•     Oil Tanks, Hazardous Materials, Trash

FREE:
•     Bring clean, dry bagged textiles and books for reuse or recycling!
