On Saturday, June 16, rain or shine, visitors to the scenic village of Shelburne Falls, MA, will find themselves “going with the flow” of RiverWalk, a day-long celebration of art, the beautiful Deerfield River and our Beautiful Earth.

The day kicks off with the Friends of the Arms Library Riverwalk Book sale – 8AM to 4 PM. Shops open later that morning and then at 2PM, educational displays, fly fishing demonstrations, and children’s activities — including sidewalk decorating and face painting — will all take place along with an Art Walk featuring artist signings, receptions, and openings.

At 4PM, the “Frog & Flower Stroll,” brings the community together for a festive walk ending up at the historic potholes for a river dance finale. The Art Walk continues through the evening hours and then, at 8pm, Bella Gaia will perform in concert at Memorial Hall. The Bella Gaia concert is a ticketed event; other RiverWalk activities are free of charge (though donations are always welcome!).
